I have been thinking about October 2nd, the day my son Sawyer was born, constantly. I love this photo capturing the first moment I laid eyes on him.
To my right, my husband sharing in this amazing moment together as we became a family of three in an instant. What you don’t see in this photo is the person to my left, my doula Stephanie Sinclair. You may not see her in this photo, but she was there…there in every way we needed and even in ways we could not have possibly foreseen needing someone that day. She was a stable calming presence throughout, even when I learned a c-section was essentially inevitable. I can’t recommend her services more highly. She’s the perfect doula for you if you’re looking for someone to support your choices, help you and your partner stay focused and positive no matter what twists and turns your birth process may take, and someone who will keep you feeling strong, empowered and capable.
